As you know I'm working on the fourth story in the Like... series.

I appreciate your patience as my real life has delayed progress on the story for the last few months.  It is still not finished, but as the end draws near I want to take the opportunity to ask any reader who cares a question.

This will be the last Mirandy story I write for a while, once this story is over they want to be left alone for a while and I'm going to respect that.  Therefore, I want to tie up any loose ends and questions that may have been brought up in the previous stories, so as not to leave anyone with any questions about the 'verse.

So, what questions do you have?  Miranda's health of course will be sorted out... anything else?

Presumptuous of me I know to think that anyone would have any 'burning questions' about the silly stories I've written, but I know what it feels like to read a series and then have things left unanswered, and I don't want to do that.  I want to make sure everything is settled so that the long time between this Fourth story (titled, Like Love) and any stories I may write in the future doesn't leave anyone with questions.

So, let me know... What questions do you want answered in 'Like Love'?  I'll try to get them all covered by the time the story ends.

Thanks to everyone for all the support and comments on the previous stories.

Ha! That isn't your question at all... what you really want to know is, Will YOU get to see Miranda in her Karate Gi... ;) and thanks to Beep, there is a picture of that very thing on the Mirandy Board.

LOL... but, we'll see if Andy does eventually as well. ;)

I was re-reading the "Like" series a short time ago and I'm wondering if we'll see a "real" meeting between Miranda and Blair (since they agreed that the night of the charity didn't count.

Jo and Blair are in this story. Not as much as I thought they would be at first, but it's not over yet.

Blair and Miranda do interact somewhat. ;)

I have no burning questions other than Miranda's health, which you already said has been covered. So, really, this comment serves no purpose other than to say I'm happy an update is in sight because I love this series. :)

Even though you say this is the last - you have created a wonderful world. One doesn't always have a happier ever after - real life takes work - so my hopes are Miranda is well, there is a wedding and possible children. But not all things are "tied up". Let real life happen. I like having strong sub-characters and Jo and Blair fit that role well. Perhaps another side story with them? Awaiting the 4th chapter - Peet

ps. Thanks for your wonderful stories

This is the last...for a while.

Oh I know, real life happens. I'm a 'soap opera baby' I was raised on soaps from the time I could focus on the television... beginning at 11:30am there was Ryan's Hope, then All My Children, then One Life to Live, then General Hospital, then Edge of Night. My brain is wired to think that way.

After this story Miranda and Andy are going to want to be left alone, and that is fine with me. I'll give them their privacy. Much like a soap opera background storyline or one of those Sims programs, even if I'm not paying attention to them, they will continue to live their lives until I can get back to them. :)

A Jo/Blair story is possible, but I'm not planning one at the moment. Currently I'm only working on 'Like Love' and an original story that is also, unfortunately, going fairly slowly.

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you like the stories enough to wait. :)

Just a few "Small" questions. Pava and the hot girlfriend? Is Dorothy ever going to tell Andrea about her Grandmother so she can finally put her mothers past behind her and accept Andy and Miranda together? Any more problems with Judy or is she now safely stashed away for good?

I really love your stories and can't wait to see you tie it all up in a bow. Wish it wasn't ending but can understand your need to take time off after you finish this. Hope you keep writing and sharing with us even if it isn't Mirandy.

Thanks again for sharing

I don't really have alot of burning questions becuase to be honest, I never felt like this was series but more a work in progress of a single story-"Like Love" (it just so happens that the last sectiion subtitle is the same as the main title). I think the difference is that in a series, each episode is a complete unit that has a beginning, middle, and an end, but here each story is so much of a continuation that for me all four stories are just parts of one very long saga of family, life, and love. In fact, if you were ever thinking of archiving it all together I'd bundle it as a single story, using the current title headings just to break it down into manageable chunks.

Anyway I look forward to the ending and hopes when it's down you take a deep breath and feel a deep sense of satisfaction because you rock! Happy writing!

P.S. I know you've been writing about some stress you've been having and I think you should prepare for war but expect a miracle. My personal relationship with God says it will all work out according to His plan. It's kind of like riding a train--you can change your seat, the car, etc, but really have very few opportunities to change your destination. Just try do what you can to enjoy the ride until you get to the next station and see where you can go from there.

I am extremely excited to see what you have for us in the next story. My question is how is Andy going to help Sarah? I know totally random but I'm curious as to what Andy was thinking when she said she "I think I know how to help with that.".

Actually not so random. I mean.. I did kinda hint that Andy had an idea of how to convince the girl's room mates that they had actually met.

Thanks for reminding me about that little bit! :)

Pava's sexuality?
Miranda in her Karate Gi. will all be revealed?
Why is Richard so controlling?
Will there be a love interest for Chad?
The Wedding(D'uh!).
Is Bethany the New Emily?
Is Judy gone for good?
Is Andy safe from harm?
Who wiped the tapes of Andy?
Is one of the twins really psychic?
What is Miranda's color for the wedding?
Is Candy pregnant and over 18?
Is Miranda's health okay?
As you can see Gin, no real questions from me!

Does the press settle down or get worse?
What happens with Jo and Blair?
Does Blair get to hang out with Miranda again, as was promised?
Does Richard accept Andy and Miranda's relationship?
I need to sleep....stopping now. *embarrassed smile

Ditto to practically everything above! Particularly associatedbears. But to add to the list:
- Just how unimportant is Mirandas work becoming?
- Serena and Emily, happy ever after?
- Will Emily move on or chose to stay for as long as Mirandas around?
- Any happy ever after for Nigel?
- Will Andys mom find happiness? Friends? Peace with Mirandas money? Her own worth?
- Will Andys family ever all visit?
- Andys future career?
- Caroline & Cassidy fulfil their curent career aspirations?
- Does Miranda and Andy accept everyone the twins bring home?

I could go on, and on, and on .......
Can't wait to read what the muse brings and any future pieces you write!

I think I can hit most of those in Like Love, but some will have to wait... the ones about Cassidy and Caroline's future careers and love interests won't be covered. The story just isn't going that far in the future.

I'll see what I can do about the rest.

Thanks for the comment.. I've really been blocked on the story lately. This is just what I needed to get me going again. :)

I'm looking forward to Like Love and will wait impatiently but I will wait as long as it takes until you finish. My comments are rather general and a question. I really enjoyed all of your stories and I love your portrayals of Andy, Miranda, Emily, Nigel and the girls and I'm a great Jo/Blair fan so I love that they are included in the series as well. and finally a question - are you by any chance the same Gin who wrote a Xena Conqueror trilogy Negotiations, Complications and Invitations several years ago? If so I reiterate I live you writing.

ROFL...

I'm glad you enjoy the stories so much. I completely adore Miranda and am glad to have the opportunity to grant her some peace and happiness in her life.

I am also a big Jo/Blair fan so when I had the opportunity to insert them into the story, I took it, after about a day of debating with myself if I should or not. :)

Ah... Xena... yes, I admit, that was indeed my work. And, in fact, Invitations is the reason I will not post stories until they are finished. The stress of posting that story in bits really nearly killed me. I remember distinctly sitting in the middle of my living room floor actually pulling my hair out with that one. :)

I'm glad you liked them though... lol...several years?... it was over a decade ago that I did those. I'm glad you liked them too. I had been working on a fourth to that series as well, but the Finale took the heart of me for writing that fandom, and I'm not sure I'll ever get it back... I should go back and look at that some day. :)

Thank you so much for your comments, even if they are general... those are good too. It brightens my day immensely to know that someone enjoys my work, old and new. ;)

Have a great day!

Well I didn't want to say back in the nineties even though that's when I read them. And I think you should go back and rethink that story, assuming my opinion matters at all, you shouldn't allow someone else's bad writing and ruin your enjoyment of something just because that story is considered canon. Here's the thing whwn it comes to canon vs. non canon - all fanfiction is AU by definition, therefore you as the fanfic writer can decide for yourself what is or is not part of your version. So you hate the Xena finale, which by the way I agree with you it sucked royally not so much because it was badly written or acted it wasn't but because it was just a bad idea period, then in your universe it didn't happen at all and the seies ended before that ill conceived thing was ever aired. Personally I have found that in most cases the fanfiction surpasses most of what was presented by the original creators, for example I have read so truly extarordinary Buffy stories that are easily better than anything that was presented by Whedon and company for most of seasons 6 and 7 to name but one. In any case I am very happy to know that you wrote three of my favorite Xena stories of all time and are continuing to add to that list with your DWP stories. Have a great day you've ,ade mine better already.

LOL... then or now, I love knowing that people read and enjoyed my stories.

I don't know if I can go back or not. Maybe one day I'll have a Xena marathon and get back into the series... if so I may be able to finish the fourth story. The 'finale' did NOT happen in my 'verse... but still, it took the enthusiasm I had for the fandom enough to not want to finish. I hated the ending of the series because Gabrielle was alone. They should have both lived or both died, but they should have been TOGETHER at the end. IMHO they totally screwed up the last season as it was... When they died and went to heaven they had the perfect opportunity to do a random 'uber' type season with a new 'uber' character for Xena and Gabrielle every week. It would have been the fans dream season... but they did what they did and that is it.

Yes, I agree... all fanfiction is in fact AU, some more than others. I guess I just was so absorbed in Xena for so long that the 'finale' was the final burn out...

Anyhoo... I'm very glad you enjoyed the three I posted, and are continuing to enjoy my work in the DWP fandom. :)

Just remember I love comments at any time, so feel free to email whenever you want. :) LOL... even if it's 10 years from now ;)

Have a great day!

Hi, I just finished sending you a review for this lovely series as I read it over at ralst.com I came around looking to see if there had been a fourth story. I was so very glad to read that you have been writing a fourth story for this series. I love each of your stories to pieces and will wait as long as you need for the fourth story. Any questions I'd like answered mostly were covered but my interested is very focused on a few things:
1. Caroline--is she psyhic or was that a one shot kind of dream?
2. Will Richard ever reconcile his beliefs on homosexuality with the happiness his daughter has found?
3. Will Pava be outed as having had or now having a relationship with Mrs. King?
4. Will Dorothy continue to play a role in Cassidy and Caroline's lives as their grandmother? Will she tell Andy about her own life story and her maternal grandmother?
5. Are Serena and Emily together? Or just close? Do they have a 'happy ending'?
6. The wedding...will Miranda invite Anna? And what is Miranda's plan concerning Jean Paul's 'horrible' designs?

So...lol as I mentioned they kind of are repeats of other people's questions but I still wanted to put them out there and hope they are covered in Like Love.

I look forward to reading Like Love and am off to read your previous stories.
